About the swapping money, yep it is true, and with a few users often confusing due to the low quality of content, but they have invested a huge amount of time to build up a following base. I find in general comparing very poisoning, it doesn’t help in any case. In every industry there are such cases, lets just have a fast glance in the music business, we all know that some of the best musicians don’t get chances, but tones of really stupid music is playing on the radio making mostly producers rich. I think steemit has a lot to offer.
People without patience will always get annoyed fast.
