I love this post @steemship. I also have to say that @stellabelle and @donkeypong are great choices for a bridge between the super technical posts and the mainstream audience.
Everyone here wants to make steemit better, but sometimes the proposed solutions are too cryptic for most to understand. It may be helpful to discuss some of the changes with people who can describe them in layman's terms.
To become more decentralized, maybe a vote could be put with a certain percentage needed for that to be put through and a follow up to keep that change after a certain amount of time.
Both @donkeypong and @stellabelle are two of my favorite writers and each offer a unique perspective, with two different personality types and ways of writing. I feel they could both be hired by steemit and also be allowed to pick a team to work with them to help make sure users are not confused by overly technical jargon.
I'd also nominate @piedpiper because of his passion to help new people and I know @sirwinchester is very busy and enjoys creating his own content, but would be a good judge of people who can make steemit better suited for newcomers.
