I just finished my first month on Steemit and I do see a lot users chasing the coin. I have never been a writer or blogger so this is all new to me. I work a regular job and have normal "life happens" moments that limit my contributions. But, yes, I want to be here. Keep Calm and Steem On!

Congrats on the milestone :) we actually addressed this in one of my creative writing classes. At what point do we consider ourselves writers? Is it a certain level of success? Some famous authors didn't become famous until years after their deaths. We determined that if you put the work in to write to the best of your ability and put something great out into the world, you are a writer. I work and go to school as well, and after missing out on a week's vacation I felt like I came back to a COMPLETELY different platform and have not felt the same since.
