What is going on?
Steemit is messing up.
Everything lags. My posts get eaten by... god? the langoliers? What?
Suggestions:
- Make it so I can post.
- Make something like the groups of facebook, or subreddits of reddit. Something so that people can find the content they want, or find the target demographic they are making content for.
User created pages (separate from the personal profiles) that people can join or subscribe to.
What we currently have is NOT THAT, what we have is a search engine limited only to searching for hashtags on this site... That is what twitter and tumbler do, and it is not the same thing as building a community. - A direct messaging app that works, and is "built in" so that I can spend my time connecting with people ON THIS SITE, instead of going elsewhere because they have better service elsewhere.
- Change the way the feed looks, so that I dont have to actually OPEN every post i want to look at individually. I understand some posts may be LONG (like this one) but, the way it looks now is not so great. More like facebook in that regard and less like reddit. More of a scrolling aesthetic.
Basically steal everything that makes facebook and reddit great and combine it.
It's been doing this across the board and it's annoying. I heard they are working on the site, a new UI or something. Hang in there. ha.
