Hello Steemians, especially newbies!
A few weeks ago I earned my first Steem Dollars and there was a question how to withdraw them in real money. I've read a lot of articles about this theme, most of them about Bittrex or Poloniex. But I like another way; I think it's easiest and faster.
By the way, today’s Steem and Steem Dollars price is
I think it’ll grow much more, so the question How to Withdraw Steem or Steem Dollars becoming more and more relevant.
First step.
Open your Steemit Wallet.
Near Steem or Steem Dollars you can see the arrow, click on it.
In the popup window you’ll see actions you can make. We need to choose "Buy"
When you click on Buy button you’ll be redirecting to the Blocktrades.
There you can see two fields: Send and Receive.
I like this way of withdrawing because I have choice. You can choose those cryptocurrencies what you want, it can be: bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum, dogecoin and others.
Before I make a transfer, I check the exchange rates of all cryptocurrencies and choose more profitable. When I transferred SBD at first time I chose Dogecoin, but all the last times I chose Litecoin as it has better rate.
So, when you made your choice, specify the desired amount of Steem or Steem Dollars into the "send" field. In the "receive" field you'll see the estimated amount of your chosen cryptocurrency. If you are all satisfied with enter valid address of your cryptocurrency wallet (for example Coinbase, Block.io, Xapo etc) in the field below (Your receive address).
Then click on Get deposit address.
After it you’ll see a window with information. Read it.
Go back to Steem wallet, click on the arrow near Steem or Steem Dollars and choose "transfer"
You’ll see this window
In the field 'To' paste an Account name Blocktrades. Then specify the amount of Steem or SBD you want to transfer, paste memo and Submit.
That’s all. Wait 5 or maximum 10 minutes and check your crypto wallet. Your money should be there.
When everything is ok and your crypto wallet has replenished you can transfer cryptocurrency to your Bank account using the cryptocurrency exchanger. You can find exchanger that would be best for you using Google search.
All process took 10-15 minutes. Only ten minutes and you have real money on your bank account and could make purchases. My first purchase with Steemit money was – lipstick). I think, as all girls, we always try to be more beautiful, so I decided to spend my first Steemit money this way)
Wish you huge earnings on Steemit and everyday withdrawals!

Welcome)
Yeah, exactly the way I did my first payout, fast and easy and cheap, and by the way, I trust Blocktrades much more then Poloniex or Bittrex because it was founded by a witness of Steemit and! located at Cayman Islands.
Tom
Thank you, Tom)
Great post! Very helpful
Thanks a lot!
resteemed, because much more of the so called newbees should know an exact, safe, cheap, easy and secure way for payout, it cost me nearly two days to figure it out how is the best way, and, both, Poloniex and Bittrex, have problems now to open new accounts.
One more reason to use @blocktrades for me is, better I give the transaction fees to a member of Steemit then to unkown people, I'm sure this guy worked hard for it, not only for himself, for the whole Steemit community.

Wow i loved your post, I did not know how to exchange and he helped me a lot. I invite you to come and read my last post https://steemit.com/news/@josegarm/what-happens-in-venezuela
Great tutorial, it's very clear. But I don't see why you find it easier to use Blocktrades than an classic exchange. Personally I use Bittrex and it's really easy. I don't need to check which currency has a better rate first, I can do that after on the exchange. Or maybe I don't get everything with the Blocktrades method.
I find it easier because my first withdrawal was through Blocktrades,so I don't say that Bittrex is bad or longer, but I like Blocktrades and decided to share this information with other) But I believe that for newbies Blocktrades will be much easier to use. When I've read articles about Bittrex I had many questions and things I did not understand. Also, Bittrex is a new website, I mean a new site for me and when I get to new sites, I need some time to get to know everything there, get used to it. And, as for me, Blocktrades is quite understandable for everyone and it's here on Steemit)
Ok, I understand now. It's more because you are used to it. That's probably why I also find it easy to do it with Bittrex :)
