Eventually it will only be those with a big following and high status that get the big rewards. It will take more and more work by small players to get decent rewards.
At the same time the system is designed to work like playing the lottery. Small players "win" enough to make it feel as though they can win the big prize, so they contribute more content.
You can't on one hand say you have a chance at winning big rewards if you keep working hard, and on the other let those who don't work hard rise to the top because of status.
It's not the wealth that needs distributing, it's the voting power. It's sad that they are related - kind of aristocratic, actually. Small players hold no voting power at all. We can vote en masse and a whale can change it. Likewise, a single whale can vote on a post and it will trend, especially when the curation effect comes into play.
Thanks for the compliments on my writing. I appreciate it.
Yes they are all very good points my friend, I'm not really weighted nor educated enough to talk much more on it, but as exciting as it is, we all do worry maybe a little too much?
I don't post anywhere near as much as you or others, as I have outside commitments, but the things I do post I put a lot of work into so you'll probly only ever see 1 post per day from me at best... I hope things go big for all of us but not every post can be a winner :)
The compliments were the truth, often by the time I read your articles my voting power is down to below 60% so it's not worth even clicking ;)
