Just one question, or perhaps more accurately, a quick observation closely followed by said single question.
Steemit is supposedly social media 2.0 - the big electric utopia as dreamed by every pimple-faced nerd and lonely teenager since the Stone-Age inception of Linux through which like-minded individuals might connect, share ideas and get paid for spending their Saturdays creating kick-arse content, rather than, well... literally anything else.
It sounds great. It really does.
But why is anyone going to spend their Saturday making that amazing content when any and all chance for reward and MEANINGFUL recognition is signed over to voting bots?
