1st Chess Tournament concluded:
Now that the 1st Steemit Chess Tournament concluded with @krasirmirkolev taking 1st place and @schamangerbert 2nd place is time to think for the next tournament. If you missed the post about it you can find it HERE.
Time/Date:
Next tournament is gonna be this Tuesday( 1st of august) and because I want to give more people from different time zones chance to join I am making new Poll so people can vote which time suits them best. The popular vote will decide at which time the Tournament will be held please vote below:
Poll
Note - All times are in GMT( Greenwich Mean Time )
If you want to convert your time to GMT head over HERE.
Rules&Format?
@schamangerbert opened a debate to change the rules from last tournament which were - not rated,7 minute matches + 1 second/move and 45 minutes long tournament. To see full rules HERE. So I decided to open another Poll to see what people think is the best format for the tournament, please vote below:
Where the tournament will be held?
We will be using lichess.org platform for the tournaments, so you better have an account ready or create one quickly!
The Prize Pool:
I will be giving out symbolic prizes at first(as you can see my steemit account is not rich) for the winners. Prizes will grow with time as we gather more support for the project. I will be using 100% of the collected SBD to add to the prize pool !
The second Steemit Chess Tournament will give out:
1.5 SBD + 50% of the collected SBD for the Winner.
1 SBD + 30% of the collected SBD for 2nd place holder.
0.500 SBD + 20% of the collected SBD for 3rd place holder.
How to enter the tournament?
