I have had certain accounts unfollow me on Steemit and it has always been a bit of a shock. I don't feel like I have ever retaliated, but rather it makes me second guess myself and that isn't a fun feeling either. Having to ask yourself if your content sucks just isn't fair to yourself. I need to not let one unfollow impact me so deeply. I am pretty careful about who I unfollow. My biggest reason is to clean up my feed so I can give more love to other users and so I don't miss a really good post that might have other wise been buried. I would hope if the day comes that you feel my content is slipping you would message me and say "hey kick it up a notch!" before you unfollowed me :)

Lol @bozz, your not on my 'soon to be jettisoned list', I have gained some good information from you on Discord that makes you more than worthwhile besides your content.
Someone unfollowed me last week of some repute who I was not following, and perhaps it was because I was not looking at her blog. I do try but its time consumng to keep everyone happy. When I start work again, it will be worse.
Yeah, I hear you. Things are probably going to be getting busy for me in the next month or so as well. Good to know I will be sticking around for a while longer :)
