Cheating on Steemit with a markdown Editor
Part 1 of the Highly useful web based tools by mk of @brains1ck
On Steemit, it seems that there are some people that believe in content quantity over content quality. Sure, a daily post count and active blog are both pretty essential qualities to the power users that are earning huge amounts of scrilla (or STEEM) on our beloved website steemit.com.
Another thing that I have noticed though is that very little is there a post on hot or trending that:
- Isn't aesthetically pleasing and easy to read.
- Has very little useful content or is totally irrelevant.
- Doesn't have at least 1 picture for the thumbnail.
And to be honest, learning how to design a pretty post in markup, to a degree where other users will actually want to give away their precious upvotes, is no small task. If you ever wondered how the pro's do it, keep wondering... But here is how I make mine:
drumroll please
dtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdddtddtdtdtddtddddtdttdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdtdddtddtdtdtddtddddtdtt
It allows for Font editing, hidden linking, images posting, lists, headers, tables, a preview window and more...
###All while having the usual benefits of your average downloadable word processor like microsoft word or web based like google docs.
You can import, export, publish, even load it to stackedits cloud server for collabs. It has an autosave function to save you from web-crashes when you need it the most and best of all its a very low-impact program on your browser and computer.
