Yeah I never got that response about the Steem Rewards either.
I tried installing the wallet in Linux and it errored out so I installed on Android and couldn't get a response from the bot and I have tried like 6 times.

I did also put it on android phone and the same effect, nothing. Maybe too many users crashed their system ?
I was able to do one on an iPhone and in a Ubuntu install on a VirtualBox install. I couldn't get the android wallet to respond to me in the chat for some reason. Not sure why.
Give it another try! The bot is working again! if you get no response click back in the chat the contacts and remove the device button to delete the bot and then open it again! should work instantly!
