One of the things I love most about Steemit.com is the sites ability to help the people in the world who absolutely need it the most. When myself or someone who lives in A country using the Euro earns SBD or Steem, the value is very close to that of a dollar. We know exactly what the 1 Steem Power will buy in our economy. The added ease of acquiring BTC through American exchanges like Coinbase.com makes being a crypto coin investor/trader attractive to western civilizations.
Things are so much different if your looking through a lense from the perspective of a person from Venezuela, India, Africa, Mexico or other countries that have oppressive governments towards its people. How much money is trying to get into the crypto coin space from these countries and can't get in because of government regulations? How do you save yourself from governments who abruptly de monitize the value of state issued currency? How many corrupt bankers steal thier money so they never have a reasonable chance to get ahead for thier families?
The answer is these countries have citizens who really need Steemit.com because it's a way to help them get money in this market easily because they can earn Steem token to trade for BTC. Earning 1 Steem worth 1 dollar roughly.....that is 15-20 Pesos in Mexico which can go a long way for that individual. I feel for these people in these countries because they want opportunity and jobs just like the west does.
Keep this in mind when helping other Steemians in countries without a stable currency or government. Crypto coins are the only thing they have to protect the sweat they have dripped from thier brows, protect the family wealth they have and provide the sovereign freedom that every man deserves.
Sincerely,
The OG Broncnutz -

Hello. Venezuelan here! You Surprise me each day bro! Not so much people take care about informing regarding our current situation, I have ten days here and I have to admit I started aproaching this with a "Get money fast" Mentality due to our current economic sitiation. Ffter two days I stopped and thought about the time I spent on FB or Reddit without getting a penny and decided to not push myself hard; let myself Go; and Enjoy all the Goodness that Steemit offers us. As I always a pleasure to read you. Thanks a lot for Caring about our country.
I wish to visit there someday but right now is too dangerous
I am from India and with reference to this post i would like to put my points as follows:-
(1) The recent demonetization in India has really made heavy demand of BTC in India and in some cities like Bangalore some retail shops have started accepting BTC.
(2) In India BTC may not be a regulated currency, yet not illegal either.
(3) In comings day BTC will get more popularity in India, not only because of the own popularity of BTC but also because of heavy population which otherwise become a raw material in terms of supply/demand for BTC
(4) @broncnutz has rightly pointed the good aspects of BTC here.
Thanks
Good reply!
Thank you sir
In India, a lot of people (those who have got black money ) have already started converting their wealth to bitcoin, most of the people who have a got a lot of cash are, in fact not aware of the bitcoin, so they have not switched yet, that is why they have switched to gold only, once they know properly about bitcoin and its potential, then definitely they will opt for bitcoin.
You right and steemit brings big opportunity in addition my country ,Turkey. They just know about steemit like simple social media but it m sure that soon, our people will learn how steemit is deeper and bigger.Crypto currency is Freedom, may Satoshi Nakomoto is millenium Spartacus:-)
Thank you for posting @broncnutz.
Greetings....lovely to make your acquaintance....@scottish01 resteemed an earlier post of yours.
Appreciate the information regarding these countries where Steem as a currency has an impact greater than in the West.....hearing from Ukranians...a very similar story.
Cheers.
NB....thank you @broncnutz
@bleujay thank you for the mentio and the repost :-)

Cheers from Bulgaria it's almost the same here.. Hoping the market expands and price rise
i Think you know, i am your follower :) that's because i like your posts :) @ronaldmcatee
Following u back, thanks for the support cuz!
Hey @broncnutz,
I found you here on Steemit because of this post. This topic is so important! I have some Twitter followers from India, so I am promoting @firepower's Steemit event in Bangalore on my Twitter channel.
I have some followers from South American countries. If anyone knows who the best Venezuelan bloggers here on Steemit are, feel free to reply. I'd like to follow them.
Again this topic is important, glad you wrote about it. Following you now as a result.
Thank you for noticing me and taking the time to read what if have to say. I deeply understand Cryptos and how powerful they are to the whole world. If I lived in an oppressive country (I kinda really do) I would be doing backflips at the ability to have a legit "side hustle" where I could earn free Bitcoin (after conversion of course BTC/steem). Then stash it on a Trezor hardware wallet and tell the govt to pound sand. It's absolutely brilliant and Steemit is gonna disrupt social media like BTC is doing to the banks and the paper mache, rigged gold & silver market. People in these countries should be piling into Steemit in mass numbers soon.
Awesome post man, I have kept an eye on South American politics and shit is whack. I am following you so I can upvote where i can I am really new to this but this speak to all that is ethical in me.
Thanks for the support
Thank you so much for spreading the word for Venezuela, we definitely need it, as jon says in the top of the comments, at first we are attracted to money, but then you realize that steemit is much more than that, it has great people inside it with a lot of talent to offer. I am enjoying the most of my time here, connecting with people around the world, new friends with whom to share my stories. I am totally pleased. Greetings and thanks again!
Thanks kid....following you! Keep your chin up in Venezuela, keep stacking Steem power and convert to BTC in three years. You can beat your government with that strategy.
I totally agree and have been doin' what I can for others by up-voting here on steemit. Not only have I made some good friends but my following has grown immensely. We here in the states take soooo much for granted. If only more Americans were aware of just how dicey our fiat $ situation is they'd be a touch more weary... or maybe not? I'm glad to see you make this post! Haven't followed you long but am liking what I see. Enjoyed.
I can tell by this reply you and I have a lot in common. You get it. Thanks for filling me, I got more good stuff to come.
This year in tunisia, Paypal was Trying to get into my country, paypal wanted to offer full financial freedom to tunisians but our government wanted to have a commission from every transaction and tunisians can only send money to people who lives in tunisia, so paypal refused that and now we have to wait 5 more years until paypal comes back to renegotiate. Steemit offers us the financial freedom that we don't have, Trust me if my government finds out about steemit they'll somehow find a way to take commission or they might as well block it.
I'm going to spread the word about steemit here, and the government can't do a thing about it .
You see it's hell over here :'( .
I totally agree... steemit is changing so many lives across the world 💪🏼🙌🏼💯... keep on steemin 💯
True, steem is worth much in underdeveloped/developing countries especially when you look at the conversion rates. I guess as the value grows it would also be of great benefit to those with stable currencies.
You are right @broncnutz . I live in Asia and in my country crypto is not recognise. Heck! I only know, if the gov cant understands it, they wont make it legal. But i dont care. Once you goes crypto, you never goes Fiat.
We all done with Fiat.
So true @broncnutz. In Indonesia, some low income family can even ussualy live on 2-5 dollars per day. Which is roughly a day worth of steeming when the price is good.
Steemit is going to give a lot of people freedom. But yes it is truly going to level the playing field for third world countries. Or anyone struggling for that matter. It gives everyone a chance for there voice to be heard in a uncensored way. Great post. Steemit is Freedom.
Yes @broncnutz
For my medical needs Steemit helped me alot because of some kind people in this community.
Good for you ! Here is a little more for the medical kitty. 😀
Thank you @broncnutz
I appreciate it very much :)
Yeah, I've often thought about that because I lived in India for four months. The exchange rate was VERY favorable to the $US but obviously not the other way around. So if they could get jobs in the US, they were able to send a lot of money back to support their relatives, and even branch into real estate, etc. Same concept with Steemit, only they don't even have to leave the country! That's awesome, and only fair that more value moves into second and third world countries. Cheers to this platform!
P.S. the graphic at the bottom of your post is fantastic man..!
Thanks for this well thoutout reply. I got the graphics at the bottom of the web. Feel free to copy and use it.
bitcoin is helping people in Venezuela buy food online because inflation is so bad there right now
SO sad there. I hope things improve a lot very soon but it doesn't look like it's going to.
it will only improve if the government is overthrown
This is why i like Steemit, you can easily help people a bit.
Don't forget about Africa, the continent which may need even more help than the places you mentioned in the title! For an African Steemit could be a significant income and change their lives.
When he said "How do you save yourself from governments who abruptly de monitize the value of state issued currency?"
I am sure he was referring to Zimbabwe.
I hope so, I was thinking of Zimbabwe too in particular! I'd love for Africa to get onboard. I feel like they would have awesome stories, perhaps pictures to share, and it would be great to have Africa onboard with the internet finally!
I was.....and India too because they outlawed the 50&100 bills there in one week.
I think I read that America doing the same thing? All the old $100 will soon be worthless and only the post 2009 will be valid. FIAT is a joke..
I mentioned Africa in the body of the post, I know it's bad down there.
For now, we are small number of people in Turkey, try to develop and spread a lot of people.
Good to see the Rapid Growth of this it make all of us happy
In some corrupt nation where money is being robbed and used by top leaders or ministers than cryptocurrency is the only secure source of money for them.
I think it is great the steem is work more to those in other nation and how it can revolutionise their life.
That's why I hope Steemit keeps growing and changing people's lives completely for the better

Yeah true but one annoying thing is steem value drops sometimes so badly. Except that steem is the king.
Thanks just the nature of crypto....and free markets.
Yes it's truly amazing how much steemit can change lives for everyone. I'm glad to be here with everyone else in it's early stages.
Great to see the blockchain go above and beyond.
This has been a blessing for Venezuelans and all those countries that have instability in their economy. We need to know that he is in a state of knowledge and get as much juice as we can. Gracias @broncnutz.
