A week ago I found this site, I saw how this site works. I said “it’s amazing site! Simple and interesting conceipt”. There’s no friend and any one that I know who join on this site. And I think it’s good way to introduce “batik”. Because I had a dream that batik which I made would be appreciated in the world. That is why I really hope you guys would teach and guide me here.
Little bit about me. I’m working at home as craftsmen. I made bags, tradisional “ batik” and many more. It’s pure homemade industry.
But nowdays I prefer to focus on “batik”. In this way I can remember my father, because I miss his figure, his way… to teached me how to making “batik” well. I admit that I was wrong, walking on the unknown place that I never skilled to stay. It’s a mess, until he died I still can’t made him happy and proud of me. last words he said to me before he died. motivated me and I really want to continue his dreams. Educate and promote “batik” to the world. at least appreciated what i made.
Craft is a part of my life. When I was young more precisely My parent may always talk about craft before I came to the world. Of course, that’s their major work.
There’s many things I got , the sadness and happiness making money by traditional ”batik” maker. One of sadness things is many people got wrong perception of “batik”, they didn’t know between original “batik” and fake ( I mean factory maker ).
There’s a defference of them, original “batik” made by some process and stages which never be instant. Because “batik” is a process.
