RE: But where does the money come from? - Explained with World of Warcraft.

An insightful post. I haven't played WoW but I understand what you're saying. This will be a very effective analogy targeted at a specific demographic. You are dead right about early adopters staking a claim and the inevitability of big brands following the customer base over here. I hope commercial interests never start to dominate the whale class though because that would definitely be the time to sell for me.

Or perhaps you have some thoughts or positions you'd like illuminated.
As an ancap (anarcho-capitalist) I'd like to keep that philsophical position front and centre here, to expose a wide audience to our content.
Imagine having the power to drive a post to the top of the trending page on reddit.
You might sell it, or you might just decide to keep it.

I'm more of a classic libertarian, so not that dissimilar to your philosophy. But probably not wise to get into a debate about political ideologies on here if we're going to be friends! :)

I am a firm believer that any commodity or product has its price. If the big commercial interests moved in and drove the STEEM price to the moon I'd be selling and then if the platform became compromised and dominated by said commercial interests....well I'd be investing in a new grassroots platform (maybe even using the same technology) to get started.

That's the thing I love about cryptos, freedom of choice is wide so if any bad actors start buying up and trying to control it....well you just cash out and start again :)

Give it six months, we'll have you in yellow and black :)
