RE: My Basketball Journey - "Happiness hidden within the struggle"

in #steemit7 years ago

hey man. this is truly inspirational. I for one have not been good with persevering. I hate the feeling of failure. the feeling when all the hard work and effort that you've put in amounts to nothing

keep pushing, keep fighting, keep struggling, keep falling, but always keep getting up

this is amazing when it comes from the mouth of someone that has really done it. I believe you're still reaping the rewards, beyond the 5 minutes of bliss. thanks again for sharing your wonderful story :)

This story was one hell of a year my friend. So many negative things happening in my life and it was very hard to stay positive. I excluded a lot of other negative things happening all the same time. The post would be like a book if I wrote all in. But, somehow I knew this all was just one big life test and I should not quit and go home, but rather join another club and keep fighting. I just believed something good is going to come from all the struggle.

And, I was right. I trusted my gut feeling and it has paid off. I did not only won a championship, but I also won a mind game against myself. That year was such a huge turning point in my life and it made the person I am today. More positive, inspiring, and loving life like never before. And, now, I only want to share it with everybody. Because there is strength in all of us. You just have it dig it out from under fear, and doubt. Deep down there is inner voice stronger than both doubt and fear. You just have to CHOOSE to listen to it. :)

And anybody can do it. I truly believe it. :)

glad that when the second time came knocking you decided to fight it. and now look where you are. you're inspiring others!

and you should write a book! maybe when everything is over and done with. your fans would definitely want to read about it. I know 1 fan over here in Malaysia would! ;)
