What's the deal?
Hey guys, so I recently got a couple of my friends involved in Steemit, and my girlfriend as well. Most of my friends were confirmed within about 20 minutes, however, my girlfriend's account has been awaiting approval for almost 3 days now.
We were just wondering what's going on, and if this sort of thing is normal? She's really excited to get started Steeming, so any help will be greatly appreciated!

Not that I know of... Maybe someone else knows?
Something is really up with it because my husband tried 3 times to make an account and either system kick him out and he can't use his email or phone number or he didn't get a reply... plus I don't know why I can't log to the steemit chat anymore ( their website is not opening at all)- did anybody knows why!?

They are currently working on steemit chat, not sure when it will be back up :)
Those monkeys only work so fast.
Maybe there are so many new people due to HF19 that they are overloaded.
That could be the issue, maybe they are still adjusting after the fork.
damn that sucks, nobody should be deprived of joining the steemit community!
