I think the bright side of this phenomenon is that there is a clear way to climb up in the world ofsteemit, even of it takes a lot of effort. At least it seems so to me based on what I have seen. I'm no stranger to hard work, but it is the futility of other platforms that bothers me. A lot of times efforts to gain recognition elsewhere seem like a shot in the dark. Here, however, there is a real community with some shares values and if one stays involved, one eventually makes progress. At least that is what I keep hearing, and I am inclined to believe it.
