A very great point @denmarkguy - we do indeed sometimes get all caught up in mindlessly posting to gain rewards when we should instead take a minute to pause and reflect on the true purpose of our posts. Personally, I've started posting on Steemit to teach the community about health and technology. As my readership and number of followers increases, I hope to eventually change the world, one reader at a time. ;)

There's a beauty in that ... changing the world, one reader at a time. Too many get locked into what I call "The Cure For Cancer Thinking," where they feel their voice has no value unless they invent something HUGE... but every single individual whose life you touched, even a little, makes a difference.
That's what has brought me to this community @denmarkguy - the prospect of imparting everything that I have learned in health, technology and life in general to every reader I can reach here on Steemit. Still, I am always learning new things every day - so we'll all be learning together and from one another. That is a goal that I find very comforting and achievable!
