I evolved out of my cocoon and have been verified

What is this verification thing?!
That was my question when I joined STEEMIT and struggled to really figure it out. So ignored it...and what happened...well it made me smile and hopefully will help other new joiners like myself as well.

I have learned that this is a community, that even though communicating with that media face we all have, what and who is behind its does seem to matter...If you read my post https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@charlchristo/evolution you might understand my smile. I thought my introduction to myself would be enough. BUT my evolution has started. I needed to share some form of #verification as well.

I re-posted from my website to STEEM and was really surprised that I (or the other me) was being protected by @aleksandraz and @steemcleaners. For those struggling to figure out verification like I did, the comment thread that followed my cocoon story might nudge you in the right direction.
