Stop over-analyzing and waiting. Just publish the post. Us Steemians put our time, effort, and soul into the content we create. And then we over-analyze the content we just created. Should I wait an hour to post it? Will anyone like it? Will people think I am weird? Should I even post this thing at all?
It is only human nature to second guess ourselves. We do it every day with our actions in life, why would Steemit be any different?
Because Steemit is not like anything created before.
The community is built to support people being themselves, whatever that is. This is one of the first communities you can truly be yourself and not worry, over-analyze, and wait on your dreams. You can make anything possible on Steemit.
Just publish that post.
Stop fighting with yourself and let your soul be free. Write the content your gut instinct tells you to write. Believe in your content. Never settle and never give up. One day all the time, effort, resources, and soul you put into the content will be worth it.
Whenever I get doubts or second-guess myself, I just remember a line from the legend Andre 3000:
He isn't lying.
By second-guessing your gut instincts and over-analyzing your actions, you are stopping the plans in movement by the universe and powers at be. Remember we are humans. It's not our plan; its THE plan. The universe is working tirelessly and behind the scenes to make your life purpose become a reality. All you have to do to not mess it up and act upon your gut instincts. Where do you think those instincts come from? Hint, hint: it's the universe.
When in doubt realize the goal of that post you just created may not be just to make money. It might be to inspire someone and change the entire outcome of their life. Or it might be to connect you with someone who the universe knows you need with you on your journey to achieve your life purpose.
So next time you publish that post you worked your ass off on and spent three hours writing, researching, sweating to make your content valuable, just know to achieve the universe's goal for you in that moment all you have to do is:
Just publish that post.

It is positive impact for those of us who tend to be perfectionists and tries to do everything perfect , or even for those who thinks too much trying not to overspam people; however the negative effect would be those who take it at face value for your title and "just post it" without reading the content :p
This category of people who are overly desperate and tries to get as much money as possible in the shortest time.
I guess the main thing is to be original, and sometimes, good stuffs do take time to produce. :)
You have an good angle for those who are under-confident. :)

Thank you so much for your kind words. And I know exactly what your mean with perfection, I used to be like that so I can emphasize with you.
But the when I learned its "Progression, not perfection." that all went away my friend. Trying applying this and see what happens. Namaste :)
I actually started doing that @chiefmappster :) so my posts are actually very random from here and there to see how people react to it. LOL.
But what I do want to point out the effect of the "negative impact" is when people who do not understand and start spamming steemit for the sake of money , that makes this amazing site, unbalanced. It's like a garden full of trash (not even weeds. Some weeds are herbs).
A recent post that caught my attention was this
The Nerve of Some People
where I identified a person who tries to post something and another who basically just post anything (if you check his profile) and get away with it, (and then starts spamming others in comment for follows and votes)
I guess, this is where the effect of the "yin and yang".
