Steem is more than a website, it is also much more than the average cryptocurrency: Steem is a revolutionary idea, the concept of redistributing mining rewards to content providers is the core value proposition of our blockchain and it won’t change even if 1,000 accounts get hacked.
Steem is a different kind of crypto-currency, why?.. Is it because we have girls?, well not really but kind of, what I mean is that steem user base wasn`t into cryptocurrency before steemit arrived so they won’t care two carrots if we fork, roll back the chain or freeze accounts. People are here to blog and get rewarded for it, period.

Another very important point about the revolutionary nature of Steemit is that it should serious alter the Social media landscape by forcing the Twitters, Facebooks, and Reddits of the world to seriously consider compensating their posters or at least figure out ways to incorporate cryptocurrencies into their platforms. As users we need to proactively market and get more people on this site and away from the previously mentioned social networks so we force their hands and so Steemit can grow.
