It's about the gold!

In all seriousness, I have been tapping myself on the shoulder as I turn heads and receive praise for the little gold dress.

I purchased the fabric from the bargain centre at the fabric store and spent a few hours measuring cutting, pleating and stitching. Boy, the things you can come up with when you are in the mood to create.

This comfortable and extremely flattering gold dress came out to be $28 and about three hours of labor. I feel like my value goes up when I wear it to parties or corporate events - at least 100 people asked where I bought it. I literally felt like I stole the party!

I am also having a thing for lace. Note those lace top and dress - they are rich with beauty! I am starting to make lace outfits that are suitable for both casual and formal occasions.
