I am sorry that I have been out of the internet. Life has been a bit heavy, but slowly getting some will to think about stuff besides my family and our health.
Sometime soon I really need to write a discernment for newbies course. Folks, your Steemit account is cash -- it has value. And that makes you a target for scammers.
@alesno1 is asking for SBD to get you beautiful Steemians some upvotes.
WRONG -- his account has no power and he has no friends that are helping him.
Please please, research or ask someone you trust before sending money for any sort of project.
There are many folks here with an investment in Steemitverse. Find them and read read read what they have to offer. There is much to learn.
Don't let someone take advantage of you because you failed to do research first. Y'all smarter than that.
Sadly, there seem to be more and more scams running on Steemit. And if the next "hardfork" is really about making the application process easier, it seems to me it will only get worse. Scammers will always be around to take advantage of the naive and gullible. Of course, here on Steemit we have no central "them" to issue warnings and take down the problem people, so that leaves us pretty much to be our own warning system.
Thanks for the heads up. There seem to be quite a few phishing scams at the moment, too.
Bright Blessings!
