I wanted to write about this currency that I have been turned onto by my friend @mawit07. This currency is called Manna. The idea behind it is that every human, rich or poor, young or old, is deserving of a basic income. Manna is that, a basic income for every person. What is interesting about this is that it is a non-profit that runs Manna and it has financial backing from donations, grants and several trusts giving the coin a tangible value. Manna itself is managed by The United People's Currency Foundation which is a 501(c)(3) non profit based out of the United States.
These is one draw back, Manna is currently only traded on one exchange which is SouthXchange. As the coin grows, it should be adopted by more exchanges. The coin itself is currently a SHA-256 proof of work coin that has the ability to also be a proof of stake in the future. Manna's development team is also looking at adding Ethereum Smart contracts to some of their offerings. Most of this information that I have provided is me poorly citing information from their whitepaper. I encourage anyone to read that as I am no expert.
If you would like to check it our or sign up, here is my referral link. Manna
Also, check out @mawit07 as he has a couple of far better articles on this subject.
I was going to not upvote your post because it sounded too much of a kiss ass towards me. No way were my Manna posts even remotely close to what you wrote.
I might have been kissing a little ass!!!
