It is good to know that today is my 180 days on steemit. The journey has not been easy but thank God, I'm still here. It is easy to be just an observer or spectator when you haven't find your way on steemit. My first month was all about going through the trending page and giving myself so much worry. I know some of the things about steemit now through self discovery and this is only possible if you become an active reader.
I love to read and write because I believe they are the essential part of learning, and finding steemit was a dream come true. I see it to be the right platform for my aspirations and plans come into fruition.
To tackle the main issue, how has steemit impacted your life, can you see how powerful steemit is, do you know what we can possibly achieve with steemit....
let's go on as I share my experiences and that of others and then we see what we can achieve with steemit by coming together.
PEOPLE FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE IN GHANA HAVE COME TOGETHER BECAUSE OF STEEMIT
Currently there are about 160+ members in our team who resides at different places in Ghana. Through the collective effort of @tj4real, @anaman @kwkumax @richforever myself@collinz @odsam2 @ehmkannde @jeeandmee these individuals have found their stay and enjoying being part of steemit.
Through several meetups I have been close to people that I wouldn't have if not for steemit. The first time I saw @anaman @mcsamm, @jeeandmee was at our steemit promo and meetup at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, I wondered how these guys actually looked like and it was something memorable, it was possible due to steemit.
The meetup gave us the chance to share ideas and one was to make a steemit T-shirt something that @ackza loved to see and helped finance.
Again the making of the shirt and the launching gave us the chance to meet again, an opportunity to see my new friends from Kumasi Ghana.
Another opportunity also paved the way for me to meet with other steemians in Ghana for the first time at Sunyani when @ejemai and the stach brand came to Ghana. It was there I met @tj4real the guy who is solidly behind the success of our team @richforever who has helped the team to grow in divers ways, @kwakumax who is also doing great work in our team and in Sunyani. I also met great guys who have all been very supportive to our team @jakemore, @ehmkannde @christianosei
THERE IS A LINK-UP WITH INDIANS, GREAT GUYS AROUND THE WORLD BECAUSE OF STEEMIT
People we couldn't have met in our life time have been brought close because of steemit. Today it is easy to talk on phone with people from different places and engage in chatting to share more ideas. Today #teamghana have close relationship with Indians through @ackza and we are seeing good guys like @tytran and @manishmike10 who has even joined our group to help and give his support to the team. Isn't it amazing what this site could do in the life of people, connecting and linking up people from different race, backgrounds and nation.
SO WHAT AM I DRIVING AT?
Can you imagine what could possibly be born out of all the wonderful works steemit is doing?
We can make something great out of this, have you thought about what we could possibly achieve if we come together, bring our ideas, pull resources together to do something that will impact lives that history will remember us for?, My greatest aspiration is to become a whale someday like @berniesanders @donkeypong, @surpassinggoogle @sweetsssj @fyrstikken @starkerz @jerrybanfield @dragonslayer109 @nanzo-scoop, who have been helping steemians so I could channel more of my earnings to ensuring such great vision come into fruition.
By coming together,
Steemit international schools could be rolled out
As a long term planner and a visioner one of my plan is to ensure we have steemit schools probably everywhere in Ghana and in the world, like this school (international community school) above located in Ghana. This could help those who are less privilege to also have access to education.
Steemit clinics and Hospitals
A great vision would it be if we have health centers in our communities to treat people. We have steemians who are doctors in our midst and would love to hear their say on this proposal. Great job @nairadaddy a medical doctor who is doing good job with the steemit #air-clinic and would love to hear what he says about this. This is something that's on my mind and have put suggested to to our to be part of our future plans in Ghana.
A crypto centers or shops for steem
We could have centers all over the world. Something that is part of our plans in Ghana. Currently we have shops in Ghana who already deal in bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies and having steem used widely would be a great idea. I know there are shops established by steemians in some part of the world for this cause but let's assume we have many around the world , how helpful it will be to all steemians and many people.
Steemit Accelerator Hub everywhere
I love the work of @ejemai and the stach brand for their initiative of having an accelerator hub every place in Nigeria for steemians to have free electricity and WIFI. Lives could be changing if we have such centers everywhere around the world.
Steemit foundation
One of our vision for this year is to start a foundation which will aim at reaching out to the needy and the vulnerable in our society like the orphans and people with disabilities. That's something we can achieve with steemit. Recently an initiative inspired by @ackza and @fyrstikken made it possible for health screening and donations to be done to help he poor, this was organized by @mcsamm, a great steemian in our team...#teamghana. Imagine the number of people we could reach out and save their lives if steemians come together, pull together resources for such initiatives.
They say "charity begins at home" so it's something we will be doing more this year in Ghana. Our coming together as team will not be base just on how to help ourselves make more money on steemit and spend but to do so to impact lives.
It was really nice meeting the Ghana community. If not for steemit, our paths would not have crossed. With the commitment in the Ghana community, I believe you all will go far.
Congratulations on your 180days on steemit.
Cheers to many more

Wow.... Indeed Steemit does have some capabilities of doing and bringing help to our communities.creating jobs for th jobless so that they can earn something at the end ...Know of #Air-clinic made up of a community of steemians who are health professionals and students of the medics ..... There are great teachers like @geke some one i learn from not forgetting visionaries like @ackza @tytran @tj4real @anaman and many others... Think what you have up there is the future of steemit .. The schools.. hospitals ...foundations etc...
Thanks for the good work
Welcome @jeeandmee, this is something I will share with of all the medical professionals at #Air-clinic to see best this idea of having steemit health centers can be realised.
So many good people here on steemit working for their community to build better lives. Thank you @collinz for sharing what is happening in yours and your vision for the future. Thank you.
welcome @anmeitheal
Thanks @collinz
Wow, Steemit schools that sounds pretty ambitious. But thinking BIG is how dreams come true. So I support that, absolutely. Great to here you guys are organizing behind Steemit in Ghana :) Cheers
We have a lot in mind to bring into reality, thank you too for the support @robertandrew
Hey @collinz,
This is definitely a good post.
All the ideas in there are valid.
We will see these changes soon.
The plan is to bring Steemit as close to the people as possible.
Let them feel the effect with Hubs, Hospitals, Markets, Schools, Offices, Cafes etcx.
It has always been a part of the plans of #air-clinic to bring decentralization to the people or in our own case to bring hospitals to people(instead of the other way round). More on this later.
Cheers!
Good to see you here @nairadaddy and I'm glad to know your plans and support to bring steemit close to the people, I will gladly support any initiative by #air-clinic
