Today, I bought some Steem and transferred it to some Steemians to whom I am grateful for. I am grateful that there are people out there that put their minds and hearts into their posts (and comments) which is different from the narrative of other media and frequent trolling.
Here are 2:
Outside of the Steem world, I am happy to pay for magazines, books etc. and in Steem, I am happy to pay for articles that I have learned from or have been touched by in some way.
Sure, Steem is evolving and there are many efforts to keep momentum going but Steem can have multiple fates including simply vanishing if we are not careful. I realize that my one to two cent upvotes are not incentive enough for some and I attempt to provide honest feedback when possible. For now, I just wish to help out others in a small way so that we can keep this flame going.
I'm so very touched @contemplate! I happened to see your transfer in my wallet just a few minutes ago and genuinely feel both unworthy and appreciative at the same time.
I am overwhelmed at the chalk and cheese difference between people on this platform and those who seem to inhabit the Facebooks fo this world; motivated solely by how many selfies or pictures of cocktails on the beach that they can post in a shallow attempt to convince others that their lives genuinely consist of that day in day out.
I grew tired of that fake one-up-manship a long time ago and hence am also appreciative of the posts and people here.
So thank you again mate, I will endeavor to earn your support in an ongoing fashion and look forward to more genuine interaction!
Upvoted and resteemed.
You are most welcome mate, I simply appreciate your work.
Please do keep writing and sharing.
Sure thing! ☯
Wow @contemplate. What a nice surprise to wake up to. Thank you so much. I also feel like @nolnocluap , unworthy and appreciative.
Thank you for finding my posts useful and as I said in my introduction letter, if I can only be an inspiration to one other swimmer in this ocean of life, then I am happy. I truly hope that I do not disappoint!
You are most welcome. I simply thought it was the right thing to do and please do continue to write and share.
Truly, I was also really impressed by some of the thoughtful and considerate comments that you had written for others on one of your posts.
Thank you @contemplate , for such positive feedback.
Very nice @contemplate! I completely agree with your post and how diverse people can be on this platform as well. Here like anywhere else you end up with people who are only in for the money at any cost, and you also have others who do not make nearly as much money but who don't really mind and would rather select what they post or upvote.
I like your view on things here :)
Thanks for sharing
Thank you @christellemoore, I appreciate the feedback and shared sentiment. Steemit will mean different things for different people, it reflects society in many ways. I am still struck by the level of quality and genuineness of some posts - it is refreshing.
