At present the human being lives in a globalized society, where we are closer to each other, in which the struggle and ambition for power increases every day and man turns against the same man. Today we continue to face problems caused by our ideals, by the selfishness of man and above all greed. A phenomenon that is currently evident and affects the being that is part of this global community, is xenophobia, in which a culture that is not one's own tends to be rejected and prejudiced, these social behaviors tend to affect both foreigners and immigrants, being these judged and come to be considered as threats to the integrity of a nation.
One of the continents hit by this global problem is the Asian continent, which has been submerged in constant armed conflicts, in which are the Arab Spring, a series of protests and demonstrations against the government, movements seeking Westernization of Muslims and the imposition of power.
One of the countries that has suffered the consequences of the struggle for power is Syria, a country in the Middle East, which is still affected by the war; However, these have had international intervention, through developed countries such as the United States, which maintain military confrontations in the region. The civil war has caused the Syrians to move from their territories, so that the flow of immigrants increases.
''Displaced. A harmless word. But with its current common use, accompanied by overwhelming and constantly increasing numbers, have we become accustomed to the human drama behind the devastating events of the current displacement in Syria? Hidden behind that neutral term, there are, for millions of people, repeated stories of family separation; loss of children, parents, friends, homes, entire neighborhoods; and the terror of falling barrel bombs, the plundering of extremists, reprisals against family members who may be arrested, tortured, raped, disappeared or killed. Displaced not once, twice or three times, but on multiple occasions - in the houses of neighbors or in structures of buildings in their own neighborhoods, displaced in their own districts and provinces and, finally, fleeing across borders to an uncertain future '' (Cloudraey and Herson).
We live in a society where we get used to imposing our ideals on others so that every day the tensions between ideologies and cultural differences are stronger. In Europe, this xenophobic sentiment is increasingly evident as a rejection towards immigrants. The majority of Muslims tend to receive greater social discrimination, a study reveals that in the case of the Muslim community in France "the situation is much worse than the discrimination that is experienced by African Americans compared to whites in the United States" (Valfort , 2015).
Germany receives more refugees and asylum seekers than any other EU country and the vast majority of them flee civil war in Syria; However, there is the Pegida movement (European Patriots against the Islamization of the West) which demonstrated the rejection of the migratory policies in Germany of a part of the community and the discrimination towards these immigrant groups practicing Islam.
