Use steemit.com to hire yourself and pay yourself a weekly salary for blogging and interacting with other bloggers

@bdavid -- Ok Craig, now that you have noticed me I have a question for you. I have a small amount of Steem on Bittrex and was thinking about sending it here and converting it to steam power to increase the potential of getting noticed. But i don't think locking it up for 2 years is economicly feasible for me right now. What do you think is the best thing to do? I see the potential in Steemit but also realize the risk.

@craig-grant -- I recommend putting all your crypto into steem power, then power down to get the weekly payment, spend allot of time participating on steemit to grow your steem power, and convert your weekly steem payment to bitcoin.. this is what I am doing. Keep in mind that posting blogs should represent no more than 30% of your activity on steemit, while commenting and curating is the other 70%

Here's the awesome thing about this model.....you could do as you described and split your time between posting and curating....or you could do it a completely different way & also get fabulous results. The main point is QUALITY quality posts, quality curation, etc

Thanks for all the great wisdom! Keep it up my man!

Great advice...loving steem it

Craig, I watched your recent video on youtube about how commenting on steemit is more powerful than posting new blogs. I will be thinking deeply on whether converting all my crypto into Steem is the best move for me right now, however your content has provided a massive insight into a world I would never have known about, keep it up and thanks!

I only wish there are more whales on steemit and that they are more active.

there will be, notice the BETA, when steemit is no longer in beta, it means many users have allot of steem power to service the masses

Thank you for the advice, but WHO does not risk, does not get big money.

This is great.. I'm loving steemit.. helping others learn to trade crypto and grow there accounts and I also get to participate in something that's gonna b huge :)

Craig, thank you again. I will continue to take your advice and allow you to analyse the potential risks! Have you made a YouTube blog explaining the individual facets of the steemit wallet yet?

The way I do videos, I don't plan them, I just turn on the camera and start talking, when you say "individual facets of the steemit wallet", I dont know what that means, the wallet is pretty strait forward, nothing to explain

I really wanted to understand how they estimated the value, my main reason for asking is on Sunday I had almost 4 STEEM DOLLARS, the estimated value was around $320; I now currently gave just over 12 STEEM DOLLARS and the estimated value is nearly $340. Shouldn't it be more like four times that???

steem dollars don't increase in value, only steem power

I love the concept here, but I hate the design. Double or triple the content and most posts will just be lost in the clutter.

Love the post! This is a great idea to help get discussions going.

Yep, I follow you! lol

thanks craig!!!

I think I will give your words a try and see what happens

Update: I tried to do it and this pop up saying this: Account registered by another account requires 10x account creation fee worth of Steem Power before it can power down. Does this mean @craig-grant I need to get like 100 or maybe 1,000 in order to power down? P.S I like your work

I'm a turtle slow and consistent powering up my steem:)

yes, if you read a comment you like, or see a blog post you like, click the upvote arrow to send that blogger a micro transaction payment from the blockchain. New money is created everyday by the blockchain, and it's up to you to decide who gets a share of the money, just by clicking upvote for what you like, and the best part is, you get paid to do that. steemit.com is GREAT!!
