RE: The Beginner's Guide to Steemit, Part 1: Steemit Quick-Start Guide

in #steemit7 years ago

Good clear and concise post, it would be great to get some newbies to teest this out and show their findings on how they got on.
I thought at first it maybe long, but to anyone needing to get to know the basics perhaps one post is better, forgive me if I overlooked it but the Trending part did you write up anything to deter new users away from that??

I'll admit that it is quite long. However, this is intended to be put in one single PDF publication at the end, so it'll be more like a packet with chapters. I think all of the things I discussed are the bare minimums that new users need to be familiar with, so it ended up this long.

I decided to avoid Steemit politics in this discussion for now. I'm going to dedicate a chapter to it, but at the same time, if I included discussions like that, it may not age well as a guide. Therefore, I simply stated what trending is intended to be and omitted the fact that right now it's difficult to get there without paying for votes.

Thanks so much for your feedback!

No problem @ethansmith hope my comments did not appear negative its very good.

Not at all! I appreciate your feedback, so don't shy away from pointing out small details like this. I've already made some modifications based on the feedback I received from comments here.
