We all crave and need attention...
Steemit needs a way to attract more readers. Our friend, @mattclarke suggested a good revision to achieve that, or at least move in that direction.
I feel your pain, and share it as well, but (like Matt, with two "T"s), I am also thankful for the 'bots that vote for me and provide some $$$Steem and $$$SBD... And also, very happy as well, for the faithful followers who interact with my posts. ;)

I like to read your posts, I honestly feel guilty for them to vote and not reading, I still have to get my head around how all this blogging stuff works as still a newbie to it all. :)
I enjoy your posts as well, my friend, though I don't always have time to read them all...
We need more reader/voter/curators here on Steemit. But I'm happy for what's here already, and hope it will all work itself out. It is an excellent technology with lots of potential.
I totally agree but would like a bot more interaction, I do see that the site goes up and down, here's hoping the good times make a pleasant return :)
