What is the purpose of humans living in a society or realm separate from the animals if its still going to be a jungle.
Our "education" system isn't designed for us to be productive individuals. Over the decades it has been manipulated into a socialization system in which children are FORCED not only to attend by law but are forced to spend YEARS on top of YEARS learning things most won't ever remember let alone it be viable to their immediate lives.
And US the people just let the shit continue. We tell our children they teaching us bullshit but we never make the effort to remove the from this institution, even while we ourselves have gone through the same insignificant processes....
We teach our children that this is the only way....Even those children who are home schooled are still required to adhere to certain curriculum.
Everyday I realize more and more how simple education on money as its creation, distribution and implementation into our lives could have changed my life. As well as an education on nature as it relates to natural healers and nourishment.
If I had enough money where my wife or I could spend time teaching our children i probably wouldn't send them to school nor would I abide by any state curriculum and I bet they would still be very proficient in math reading and writing and be far better adapt to learning new areas of study. And if the state decided to take me to court over it then I'll be glad to take the battle.

I agree with you. It is not necessary to accept school education for kids. What matters most is to help kids have a happy and wealthy life. There has been the youngest Bitcoin millionaire of only 18 years old in US who refused to go to college. If kids can earn good money by themselves, it is only a kind of choice to go to school, instead of being a must.

Hey there, nice thoughts. What concerns me personally is the thing that I have the feeling that we even lose control over our children. How can the government have the power to enforce their so called knowledge on our children? How is the term "our children" defined? What is "our" on "our children" if we don't even have the free choice of decision what we want them to learn / experience. This definitely has to change.

Sure, it was never about possession. You can't possess a child or a human being I think, but I am worried about the way this things develop. Interestingly the native American people believed you can't even possess land. For some of us this might sound strange, but I am totally with this thoughts, because I think it is wise. For many years right now I think that at least some sides of our educational system have very much the touch of preparation to put you into the "right" thinking-box. A lot of very famous people never studied or even didn't had a good graduation in general. Everybody needs it's own time for different things. We are not all the same...we are very different. There should be public discussion about this if you ask me. Cheers!

It's phenomenal how easy it is for anyone with access to the internet to become a master in any subject, through youtube lectures and google. The information is there, it's just the willingness to utilize it.

Agreed. My question to you is how do we go about maintaining the integrity of wisdom and what I mean is that at least in the university system you gain merrit based on degrees (although they do not reflect ones true intelligence) as opposed to the internet where EVERYONE suddenly thinks their enlightened cuz they spent all of 30 mins learning about the latest conspiracy and anyone has the ability to manipulate feeble minds with bad intentions
