True, I should clean up my witness voting. I just voted for top 30 before as I didn't really know what I was doing.
I've been meaning to unvote everyone and ONLY vote those who I actually want but haven't had the time/mostly just lazy.
However, seeing your (and @paulag's) commitment to the platform, I owe it to you guys to clean up my witness voting and add you as my first true witness vote, congratulations!!

The voting page only showing the top 50 is really not cool for the rest of the witnesses - it still included 'inactive' too and so there's even less chance of making it up there!

I honestly think the witness system should work differently. There should be more incentive to vote for witnesses that benefit the platform, more visibility for witnesses, especially for those not in top 50. Hopefully hard work will pay off though!
As for Steem, I'm hoping and expecting a bull run! So much happening on the blockchain and being ranked number 2 by China while @ned talks about Steemit and SMTs to korea can't hurt!
We have so little supply since so much is locked up in Steem Power, a massive bull run could be possible if the demand actually increases!
Hard work it will be - just did some stats today and we'd need all the minnows not currently voting to push into the top 45 - all 950,000 accounts, haha :D
Yes I agree, stocks go up on rumors and potential, it's about time STEEM did that.
I guess it's rough dedicating your time to the little guys in a "meritocracy" as they say in the whitepaper, but actually an egalitarian type of voting system.
Hopefully, the some dolphins/whales start supporting you, or maybe one day all the minnows you have supported will become whales!!
