I think that's a broad statement to make @themevlog ...I know there are genuine people here who are simply here to share the things they enjoy with others of like mind. If they do make some money from it then that's just fine with them. I see many people sharing the wealth here, and not just in monetary ways.
At least that's my perspective so far...and I'm just a 3 week old no talent hack here, I am enjoying my time here and I do hope to eventually eek a nice little revenue stream for Steemit...but I have no delusions that this is going to happen in my first months...let alone first year here.

it is just my observation, human nature will always fall to greed.
for the most part I can't argue that, still if you look past all that you will find altruism is likely closer than you might think...there are good people in this world and they truly just want to help others
