RE: πŸš€ Woohoo! Finally reached Rep 71 (milestone post) πŸš€

Congrats on the milestone! Getting above 70 is quite an accomplishment. How long did it take you to go from 70 to 71? I don't really have a good feel for how steeply the rep curve increases, although for me I noticed a huge slowdown as I got close to 60 and it's been increasing at a snail's pace since then.

And nice tease of steem.cool, now my curiosity is piqued. Any idea when that will be available to the general public?

Thanks mate - each rep level grows exponentially so it took me about 2 months of pretty decent votes to get up there. Probably slowed down by the no whale voting experiment a bit I guess. I'm not sure if I'll make it to rep 72 this year at this rate :P

http://steem.cool/@cryptomancer is live already - it was created by @blueorgy

Oh sweet, it's working now! First time I tried it said only the owner could login or something along those lines. Great site and cool that it displays the rep formula. Would be neat if it also graphed it and put a dot showing your location along the curve. That would really put things in perspective.

Good luck getting to 72 by the end of the year! Seems like going up a whole 1 rep is a huge deal at those levels... the Steemit devs really should introduce an option to show it in fractional amounts and not just whole numbers. That would give a more tangible feeling of making progress.

Hmm strange, maybe blueorgy was editing or changing hosts at the time..
And agreed, I'd love to see steemit/busy show the fractional rep too..

The closest I've seen to a rep graph is what's on steemwhales, but its not quite what you meant I think:

The daily graph is just flat for me, and the "rep remaining" numbers on steem.cool are just so massive it's almost discouraging - such a long way to go..

Steemwhales does have nice graphs, but I was thinking something more like a graph of the reputation equation ((log10(abs(reputation#))-9)9)+25 with a dot showing where along the curve you are, plus maybe markers for the next & previous rep numbers. That would give a nice visual indication of how much further you have to go and what the current difficulty is like.

That would be handy , could be a neat tool for someone to make and it'd be nice to get a better way to check progression
