When thinking forwards of where I am going within the Steemiverse I can’t help but think of where I have been relating to how I got here. Thinking of everything all the way down to the coincidental situations which led me to finding Steemit in the first place. Thinking of how my supports have enabled different aspects of my creation allowing me to find a therapeutic outlet I had not known before. Thinking of how I can best use that support I have gained to give back to the Steemiverse, giving back as without those supports my passion for creation may never have been found!
The Beginning
I started on Steemit while searching for a distraction from life, with an interest in mining rewards I was curious how witnesses worked. Signing up so I may learn more quickly I discovered the requirements of #IntroduceYourself posts and what degree of posting is considered “quality”. From there I moved into curation and interaction with the intention of increasing my rep, thinking if I ever want to be a witness I will need to be somewhat known on this platform.
Most of the support I received early on was from @MinnowSupport via their free upvote service and through networking with other community members. Trying to create my own supports I joined forces with @gasparcha with a vote trading and commenting arrangement. He ended up taking on a whale battle and had his hard earned reputation destroyed which lead me to searching how to increase rep as quick as possible. Trying a few of the available options for auto voters, knowing rep best comes from votes, I ended up finding @SteemAuto by @Mahdiyari which didn’t require running on my pc. Just set it and forget it, boom the natural evolution of my discoveries to find the tools to create the #OneLoveDTube curation trail.
Founding #OneLoveDTube
Beginning my journey in Steemit with blogging I never thought I would ever pickup a camera to record video. If it wasn’t for being inspired by @DNews through one simple comment of his I may never have tried vlogging or started the #OneLoveDTube community with him! I had already found all the tools I needed with discord and steemauto so it seemed like a logical project to take on. Starting from a place of giving first for the sake of supporting others in a simplified fashion the community came to life! Early on it was just held together with duct tape, working out solutions as the problems arose. I found many people to be extremely generous such as @humanearl being our first large delegation and serious project supporter helping to push us in the direction of a curation effort not just a group of creators voting each other. Quickly the community led itself into the direction needed to continue supporting our creators and the platform alike. Now we have many projects on the go, IPFS node and uploader with dedicated developers, curation role for discord bots, webpage..... it’s all about supporting each other and what we may provide to help support others. Giving has always been first in my books!
@Partiko Partnership
While I was struggling personally and with maintaining the #OneLoveDTube community, feeling a need to step away from discord I was introduced to @Partiko by @SteemCafe. Suddenly becoming reconnected with my interest of the blogging aspect of creation I took on promoting the project with full force. I ended up taking a vacation at about the same time and started doing my first bit of travel vlogging and blogging which only added to my interest in creation. I purchased my first serious investment a GoPro Hero 5 so I could record my whale watching trip without needing to worry about water damage and everything about my creation suddenly changed.
Up until that point of making an investment I was just trying to make due with my iPhone for recording with its many limitations. I was trying to create things for the ecosystem not necessarily things for my own therapeutic outlet. With taking on doing daily DTube vlogs and Partiko Vlogs working as much as I could into promotion for my two main platforms @DTube and @Partiko, I found my following and earning quickly grow past anything I had previously known. Meanwhile everything I was creating also turned into therapeutic outlets helping me to get through the personal struggle that led me to search once again for a distraction.
Partiko with its simple mobile experience allows me to continue interaction while on the go and still today it is the only thing I use for consuming, commenting and upvoting content.
Supports + Creations
Currently I feel torn, I want for my supports to reinforce each other. Not just for my sake but for the sake of the supports themselves. The best example I can give is of my contest, I post 2 separate parts through 2 separate platforms relating to including all my separate supports.
First, I start my contest with a post through the Partiko Mobile App, thus the post is quick and simple for the most part and as the contest is sponsored by Partiko it is also used as a promotion tool. You must comment with Partiko to enter the contest and many people have been participating trying the app for the first time!
Second, I announce the winners with a DTube video an attempt to get as many eyes on the contest and also the Partiko project while still being apart of my passion for vlogging. Answering the questions in a video gives me an opportunity to make some very personal connections with the contest participants through shoutouts for bringing such a wonderful question forward for me to answer. In this fashion the contest participants are as much apart of my content creation as Partiko, DTube and of course @OneLoveDTube!
The Dream
To have my supports and creations be one, through one platform. I don’t even know if it’s possible but that’s why I call it a dream! I would love to see the day where the announcement video and my Partiko contest posts are one in the same. The day I can upload a video through Partiko and have it viewable on DTube will be the day I can merge those 2 separate posts into one. At that point my supports will become one with Partiko, DTube, OneLoveDTube, Steempowerment, and all the rest being able to reinforce each other. My creations will come together for one simplified solution through mobile creation for if I can use a single app for my entire blockchain experience I will do it. This is all in hopes of making that dream of travel vlogging in a simplified fashion come to life while still being able to do what has brought me much success, promotion of the things I love yet I will no longer require doing them separate. Essentially I could post a #OneLoveDTube contest video post sponsored by Partiko and visible through DTube, that’s the dream!

I like how you express your opinions and your dreams are interesting. @ MinnowSupport was one of the first projects I met when I came to Steemit. I'm not using Partico yet but I've already downloaded it. Thanks for the support.
