1. Don't waste your pokeballs
2. Don't upgrade your starter pokemon
3. Fuck zubat... (see pt. 1)
4. Don't try gyms unless they are empty. (Before atleast level 10)
5. Turn off AP-mode (in the screen where you catch pokemons)
