Reciprocity

I thought of the title first, not my ideal way of writing but, for this article, it’s probably better this way. I took it a step further and even tagged my first tag, too, something I don’t think I’ve done until now—I’m a big fan of your

work.

Your art is dope. I never gave digital design a chance prior to following your account, it’s a good thing I think you’re funny, or else digital design may still be in question. Congratulations on all of your success here—don’t be a stranger.

Eh! :attention: Watch who you say things like “it’s a good thing I think you’re funny” to—be careful saying things like that. See, he’ll laugh at that sentence, we share a similar sense of humor, whereas not everyone knows how to differentiate feelings between here and reality. If, for example (this is just an example), you crack a joke about an English Instructor’s grammar on this platform, someone whom you’ve bantered back and forth with a bajillion times, they’re likely to trade engaging with you for a handful of Kleenex like their box of crackerjacks came with a 50% off coupon toward their next box of crackerjacks and yours had the cool, wash-on, Incredible Hulk tattoo inside it—it could’ve been worse.

Now then—where was I?

Thanks for all of the @ibeer, I appreciate you stopping by each of my articles, it means a lot. But be real with me, it’s just the two of us here—are you trying to get me drunk?

DIY extraordinaire, father of the year, my brother, and everything else you do—I’m glad we met. We all have several DIY people in mind but you’re at the top of everyone’s roof, homes.

When you said farm, I had no idea—got dang! I enjoy our Fridays, thank you for resteeming my articles, I really appreciate all of the support you’ve shown me. God bless your cousin! @, ##, #@ @@#@ 😉

My second favorite you know what and first favorite defuser. Farmers market? Nah. 5k? Nah. This track? Yeah, that should warrant a full strength upvote from you. “100%!!”

Powerbugs, or was it Creativehouse? 🤔 You have so many things going on around here, it’s tough to keep up with you—@theluvbug, that’s it! Powerhouse, not Powerbug, and Luvbug, I knew it was Top Three something.

Long time, no see, how long’s it been now? Since Butch and Sundance, huh? Man, seems like forever ago. Scratch Jack’s ears for me, say hello to the Mrs, please.

God bless your mom, sir, 80 years and counting is a blessing. I lost mine 23 years before her 80th birthday, it really alters the #life of a young, 30 year old bastard. Your family is lucky to have you.

You’re a gangster curator. Each time I open an article you curated I’m like “how does she find these things?!” The platform appreciates all of your effort—thank you for keeping an eye on me.

I’m glad you talked your husband into hanging out with us on Fridays, he’s a fun addition, good lookin out! One of these days, should Pura and I make it down there, we’re going to rent a scooter and race you guys—“on your mark... get set...”

Man, I had no idea what you were about the first couple of times I saw your name. I heard, but that’s not the same as seeing. You’re the bowl of cereal every plagiarist deserves first thing in the morning—thank you for all of your efforts and congratulations on your recognition.

As soon as you switched curation back to 100% manual, we all felt the shift in the platform, it’s nice to have you back. Better than nice actually, a lot better. Good call—thank you!

Did you ever get that skunk smell out of your house? I’m a big fan of each of the initiatives you created. Sorry I don’t participate more often but, when I do, you’ve always made me feel welcome—thank you!

Does this mean you don’t get headaches anymore? 🤔 Wouldn’t that be cool? Judging from what you’ve shared with us, the fact you’re able to endure such things and keep marching forward is impressive in itself—I’m glad we met, I hope you’re sleeping well, friend.

Thanks a lot for the signature gif, it’s perfect! Photography, macro photography, original music, graphic design, what don’t you do?! You’re a good dude to know.

Eh, it’s nice to have you back—welcome! This platform needs more satire. No, wait, let me explain, I’m not saying I noticed you were gone or anything, I’m just saying I’m happy to see you’re back. 😉

We think about you and Brian all of the time, you’re in our prayers. The longer you stay away, the scarier the suspense is for the rest of us. I hope this message finds you in good health, God bless you guys!

Remember how I accidentally found your account? You ended up changing a tag for me so I didn’t look like such a rookie—I love it when things work out the way they’re supposed to. I can’t tell anymore when you’re being serious or funny because I laugh the same every time—keep’em coming, sir.

At first I thought maybe you managed bands or something. Then I learned you’re just a big fan of shows. Then you began showing off art from around the platform and then street art around the world. Next thing I know you’re curating, sponsoring, and leading by example—the way it should be.

I’ve had two articles mentioned on Dan’s “chillin’ and curatin,” you were my first—I’ll never forget that. It’s still one of the my favorite moments since joining this platform—always will be. I saw the mention at steemworld but when I read the actual comment, I was... still am blown away.

You—I’m The Luckiest Guy I Know because of you.

The title says:

And what I’m trying to say is

All of you.

Not just the names I’m about to mention but the names I haven’t mentioned, you reading this right now, each of you I’ve interacted with in the past and each of you I haven’t interacted with (yet)—thank you all the same. Thanks for being on this platform, it’s comfortable here, I appreciate your original content and, most of all, thank you for making me want to share my content with you—Reciprocity. Happy Friday, #steemit, enjoy your weekend.

Here I am sipping on a delicious green smoothie full of farmers market goodies, happy as a pig in mud because I've only got a few more hours until I meet up with my squad to GTFO of town, then I pop in here and my smile manages to get even bigger. If only I had 110% to vote I would. 😉

Yeah, well, you're one of my favorite virtual strangers who's always making me smile so it's the least I can do--I'm glad we met, Katie. 👍🏿

You better be tired, hung over, starving, drunk or something! Haha. I guess I could've just said "I hope you're having a great time, I can't wait to read about it."

Knuckles to @dksart, please.

@dandays You are a very astute person.

Do you like !BEER ?

I can say with 100% certainty that, until now, I've never had someone tell me I'm astute. Same with 'very astute.' You made my day with this one @eii. I had a gorgeous bartender call me a misogynist once, I was like “what?! My mother was a woman.” And then a few years later that bartender married me and we’re still together so....

”Come here often?”

Thank you @eii—enjoy the rest of your weekend.

!BEER
for weekend

BEER for you. Enjoy it! Hey @dandays, here is a little bit of

BEER for you. Enjoy it! Hey @dandays, here is a little bit of

This is really cool. I'm glad I stopped by to read; I don't get notifications when people tag me so I almost missed it.

I will have to check out some of those other steemians you mentioned.

btw - I used to work on an Amish roofing crew. Those guys were probably the hardest workers I've ever met in my life. That barn up there in Photo #1 was probably built over a single weekend.

Do you think that would've sucked if you missed it or probably not, huh, because you wouldn't have known you missed it? Well, it would've sucked for me too Brandt. Do you use https://Steemworld.org/@brandt. "Mentions," that's where I get my notifications. Well, not exactly, I get mine when it says @dandays at the end.

I’m glad you didn’t miss it @brandt, my pleasure dude!

Lol! Of course you worked on an Amish roofing crew—of course you did. I dig your content, see you around, sir.

I guess it wouldn't have sucked initially, because I wouldn't have known what I was missing. Ignorance is bliss, at least until you find out what you've been missing.

I just recently started using SteemWorld. Hadn't really noticed the mentions section yet, but I will start paying closer attention. Thanks for the tip. :)

I've done all kinds of crazy shit in my crazy life, man… if I can manage to not burn myself out, they will eventually make their way into my posts.

Thanks for keeping an eye on me @esteemapp. 👍🏿

lol! Brilliant sir dandays, simply brilliant! Seriously love the cover shot too. Reciprocity is one of the major Biblical Laws we live by.

@janton. It just turned 6 in the UK, sun isn’t shining yet. Pura is still sleeping so I opened my reviews and it looks like I have several from you—just like old times!

Great to see you again, sir, I’m glad you got a little humor out of this one and it really would have sucked if you missed your shout out. I know some people will never see it, that’s a bummer, but at least you did. Thanks for keeping an eye on me Janton, you’re a good dude, God bless Texas.

Howdy today sir dandays! hey does the weather there make you guys cross it off your list of places that you might consider as a permanent place to settle down? If you ever settle down?

Yes, God bless Texas, thank you! A state which is one with old fashioned Godly values, may she be able to hold onto them through this onslaught of migration from CA and NY.

I don’t think I’d consider permanent here for that reason. It either looks like it’s going to rain or it rains every day. I really like it here, the people are incredibly nice and the food is delicious. But I like dry days and sunshine from time to time.

I couldn't agree more sir dandays, it's why we started looking to move from Ohio. Well, that and Mrs. J. insisted on getting away from the cold!

I think this was a great article idea dude! Big 👍🏿, and Fuck it, heres some gang signs 🤙🏿🤞🏿🖖🏿👇🏿✌🏿.

Literally made me cry when i got to mine. If you only knew. Ive had little to no respect in the real world. I am fighting my ass off dude and ty so much for the Reciprocity.

I almost extended "boy" and did some ish like "yyeeeaaah booooiii" well, I guess almost isn't almost anymore. 🤔 Gang sign, gang sign, notes, knuckles, gang sign, knuckles, gang sign, gang sign, gang sign (did you get all that?).

I’m not sorry I touched on your emotions, Jon. I am sorry for anyone who just can’t experience life like everyone else. Nobody should have to deal would sliding skulls man, that’s some tectonic plates stuff that only the universe is supposed to do. They’re called earthquakes, not headaches.

Reciprocity—my pleasure. 👍🏿

BEER for you. Enjoy it! Hey @dandays, here is a little bit of
