I came across a social experiment recently on Steem which is an attempt to provide basic income for as many Steemians as possible using a reverse ponzi scheme.

I have to admit that I struggled to understand how it works and the maths, but I am assuming that it is legit and a well meaning experiment and I'm getting involved.
If you have any objections to it and think it's a scam, let me know.
In the mean time, any rewards from this post will go towards sponsoring people. In addition I will sponsor people who are contributing to the platform in some way.
Let me know in your comments if you want to be sponsored and what you are contributing.
I will give EXTRA TO VEGANS AND ANTI-NATALISTS!
Blessings
Danny
a lot of the top richest of the planet have already been advocating UBI, i read an article on wired not too long ago about some indian tribe (native american) where the proceeds of a casino were partly distributed as UBI among the population as well. Turns out (as proven before) that it doesnt really impact the number of people who go for jobs or dont. Its a basic survival sum mostly to do with as you want, but at least it guarantees not having to scam or steal for food. Due to automation, increasing population and the world being what it is its quite frankly inevitable unless one wants to turn to aldous huxley settings or soylent green ... i mean, how many molecules does the planet have to spare before all matter is actually humans, right :)
voted, resteemed etc ...
I have participated in the SBI program for a week now and have no issue with it. It seems legit and has upvoted my daily posts as expected.
Can't claim to be 100% vegan, but definitely have tendencies that way. : )
Hope this is helpful.
can you confirm how i actually do it? I send 1 steem to SBI and write the name of the account i want to sponsor in the memo attached?
That's right. Just send 1 Steem to @steembasicincome or more and put who you want to sponsor in the memo field. The more Steem, the more shares in the system.
I am a vegan :)
Cool. You’re in. If you’re vegan and anti natalist, I’ll send double
The Georgia Guidestones reflect my position on many things:

I have serious concerns about the sustainability of our current and projected population numbers = not sustainable!
Sorry - I can't help with that part as I was kindly sponsored by @evileddy. Let me see if I can get him to jump in here.
There a lote of this king of offers!
Fast money, normally fast problems!
have you read the article?
Hi danny , well thanks to the video you made outside the bank of england the other day ive signed up on steem.
all the best..............p.s. Tremble pound tremble ha! ha!
Yes, i did.
Probably i explaind myself in the wrong way.
We all in Steem Community use "Sponsor Votes", And bot Votes. To increase power and to earn some coins.
I love the fact that there is one more user sharing their power, besides the kind of method that is used.
I believe that this kind of "attitude" is the way for the steem community to grow and get more users.
It s a lot better to post and get some $$$!
Probably that s why facebook is banning crypto sponsor.
There is a new player in town that is more appealling to social media users.
I upvoted and shared it.
Seems legit on the surface, very interesting!
Vegan and contributing by trying to get people to sign up!
I'm vegan and would like to be sponsored, thank you!
For now, I'm contributing by telling people to sign up, and I'm having some very good result, involving promising creators of unique and creative content (i.e. @yelbosco)!
This is definitely interesting. I also struggled with the math part, but I suck at math and haven't had coffee yet! I am definitely going to read it a couple more times to see if its something I want to do!
The political version of Universal Basic Income is advertised as 'free' (taxed) money for everyone, regardless of any contribution to society. From what I very loosely understand of Steem basic income, users have to participate and contribute to the platform in order to receive an income. Isn't this fundamentally different from the political version? Not that that's a bad thing; it's a very good thing. I just find the term to be a little misleading and confusing.
I like this post... and this how you sponsoring others.
I'm trying to do the same soon.
Wow, I'm a big proponent of UBI as I believe it will greatly lessen poverty and increase justice. So I'm thrilled to read about this experiment on Steemit! At present It's still way too early for me to invest in it though, since I'm just a very fresh and poor minnow who doesn't own any STEEM yet. But I will keep this in mind. Thank you for telling us about it!
