Slapping a hashtag on something to divide yourself and build a "us (people who use this tag, and don't use bidbots)" vs "them (people who don't, and use bitbots)" isn't an effective measure to change behavior you don't find acceptable.
Although this is actually good for people like me that do use bitbots. It means that you will be searching for hashtags as opposed to stumbling onto my content, and complaining that I promoted it. So, I guess we all kind of win in a way.
