I Answer Even More Steemit Questions On YouTube

in #steemit7 years ago

I did another round of Steemit questions on my YouTube channel! Will do another call for questions in the New Year and will do another video soon thereafter. This has been a GREAT way to promote Steemit to my YouTube audience.

Thanks for promoting Steemit. You are doing a great job getting the word out.

David Pakman brought me to Steemit! Hopefully his posts will bring more politically minded people onto Steemit to make the politics tag more active!

glad to see you here, thanks for coming over!

Great post there, keep up good work !

Great effort to making people educating about steemit platform

A million dollar question. How can new steemians get some quality followers? Maybe Moby Dick? Arrrgh

Well Tango is more than dance, it's also a musical style with instrumentation all it's own like the Bandoneon, an instrument that, while it originated in Germany, is now very unique to Argentina.

I’m trying out ways to promote steemit. Steemit will become mainstream soon enough. If all users promote it, we will see many come to the platform

This is great man, your innovative power of taking steemit to another level will surely produce a great generation for a better world

This was a very helpfull video, the future's market scares me,back off the guns-lol.

Oh, Tango isn't that popular in Argentina, not too many people know how to dance it or even listen to it regularly. I guess I would compare it to the jazz scene in the US , but I'm not American so I wouldn't really know.

On the other hand, even though it isn't even half as popular as rock music, it does permeate argentinian culture. Gardel is like Elvis and I'd bet most people know at least a couple of tango songs just by cultural osmosis and the tango lexicon is synonymous with Rio de la Plata spanish. And the "World tango dance tournament" is reported on mainstream Argentinian media every year.

Steem is inextricably tied to Steemit, so I applaud you for attempting to explain the underlying intent of the platform to new users. I think the "Money Talks" motto is a disservice though, as it instills an expectation of reward. On the contrary, it is quite difficult for new users to attract attention to their content and it can be discouraging to continue when they see whale accounts consistently earning $100s every time they post.

For the sake of the longevity of Steemit, I hope this is ultimately being looked into, and perhaps voices like yours can compel change via further discussion on your show. In the end, it is a beta version of the site that we are all using right now, so it remains to be seen what the future holds.

Thanks for this detailed comment @syncubate!
