I want to resteem this, but don't see an option? I was just getting the same sinking realization on content only values for 7 days (but I guess much better than the old 12hr or 24hr only payouts). It really sucks that you may produce awesome content that may get you only $10 after first 7 days, and then it goes viral a month later and you get nothing for it. Reading the comments here helped me some, and gave me a better idea on how to approach this now. But it has been disappointing and a bit unmotivating when it comes to wanting to deliver quality content on here. I understand that it would be bad for the currency to payout in the long run, but maybe if there was an 'advertisement' option after the 7 days, where members can pay for add space to promote their steemit content and brands, and that ad money then pays the creator from that time on for views and likes .
