1. Steem is meant to be a content monetization engine by utilizing ones peers, so if you want to succeed, then invite your peers!
Steem is not only a bloggers paradise, Steem is a content & curation monetization engine and that is a ground breaking thing to have invented..(thanks again @dantheman / @Ned) basically the more friends and supporters you have, the more influence and earnings you will have within the Steem community. So instead of trying to fit in, stand out, and attract people that think like you, that read like you, that write like you and get your own niche kick started! If you need an example, simply check #kushsmokers, I am already doing this for the cannabis community and half the reason is simply to show everyone how its done, because after a year of reading the same type of posts over and over, you start to go a bit crazy and I thought why not just start doing my part to fix that problem? So I started onboarding qualified authors in a niche I wanted to grow such as Dr. @emilyearlenbaugh, you can also do this, it just takes a tiny bit of your time and effort I promise!
2. No Peers = No Familiar Content & No Support or Curating, so invite your peers!
The larger Steem gets, the more organized the communities must become, this is logical, this will increase rewards and content creation of smaller niches such as sports, cooking, exercising, health, finances, life coaching or anything else, all of these niches have a place outside Steemit, and all should have one inside Steemit as well, so stop invite other Bitcoin nerds, and invite you peers! How else do you expect to start getting upvoted for posting your favorite mobile game of the week and/or your favorite restaurant in Seattle? You can literally earn money for inviting people to join you in any niche... sure the rewards are small at first but they grow over time with the niche which is an amazing thing to be part of regardless of the rewards...
3. Did I mention once you build your following, no one can ever take it from you?

PS; This wasn't intended to be a full post, just a simple reminder to not only try daily, but remember that little steps add up over time and we shouldn't all be shooting for $4,000 posts anyways... we should be building our communities.. thats the real success metric here.

I donated $300 to a popular Pokemon Go Youtuber just to prove a point about Steemit. Details inside.

Your username got my attention bc says decentralized. Hope the hardfork 19 shows that minnows need to take advantage of growing their audience and do more to stand out to help reach the potential of their audience and themselves.
I also own the domain, twitter handle and plan turn this into a brand for decentralization worldwide.
that's awesome!
Great tips ! We should all be focusing on building a community.
Why thank you @trendo, just trying to do my part!
Good advice except I have tried inviting all my peers and they tell me I am in a ponzi scheme.... I will get the last laugh 😂
Thats just because they are too lazy to actually do any research, but yea we'll be laughing all the way to Steem Island.... I wonder which Hawaiian Island is for sale... @ned?
I'll take Maui! Lmao 😂😂😂
I am looking to build a team of quality authors. It doesn't matter what niche you are into, I am looking for a diversified team to grow with. @hannahlicious @elen.cat @rebeccagomez @stackin, we started around the same week and I see you guys have the potential for becoming the future whales. Why don't we create a team, collaborate, and grow together? Let me know if you have any ideas :)
Hey @kryptoknightk for sure would love to collab with you to create a team... @decentralizd is a wise man :)
Well if @decentralizd can hook it up with a team, that will be great :)
I think we'd have to create our own team and find other people to join. But what the theme of the team is... who knows? haha
Well yeah, I haven't seen any "teams" on here yet haha. But I was thinking of having our own chat channel, following each other on streemian, and supporting each and every of our posts. The bigger the team will get, the better we will all grow. But we'll make sure that there's only QUALITY authors on there. We can even do more stuff with the team. I am looking for more ideas!
fat fingers..
