Withdrew my first payout! Convinced that Steemit is the future!!

Yeah!

The search is over for the No demonetization policy platform.
My channel on Youtube was hit pretty bad by YT demonetization policy and I was not happy about it for long!
I love to create content for my DemolitionRanch family and was looking for alternatives for about a month.
Had tried Twitch.tv (Didn't work out for me).
Until recently my friend told me about steem blockchain and its platforms, I joined it and am having quite a great time here while interacting with the followers and fans here.
I wanted to check how the payment withdrawal is done in here so tried 5.1 SBD withdrawal and it took about 15 minutes to come in my wallet.
So all I have to do now is just sell it at the exchange and get the money in bank right?
It's not that complicated as I thought it would be.
Steemit provides me the freedom to post all I can with no regulations or demonetization policy.
That's Pretty Awesome!
Love ya!

Official Merch: Demolition Ranch merch is here. Scientist say it’s the litest merch on Earth.

Sort:

pretty sad to see you impersonating Mister Demolition Ranch himself... I can't understand how people fall for this :(
Guys this is not Matt from Demolition Ranch!
He didn't say anything about it on his channel and he did do that when he posted all his videos on Twitch.tv

You think it's just a fan? I too was checking his twitter and facebook for an announcement.

@justdb i am sure you have valid concerns.
I told everyone about twitch.tv after I had tried it for some time and I can't just tell my subs that i am now on steemit and exit again soon as i did on twitch last month unless i had tried and tested it.
My only concern before telling everyone on youtube is that there is not much pool interested in guns as i couldn't even find that in tags.
People are more into crypto here.
I am finding the platform quite good but there are still some concern regarding .
Will be doing live stream sooooooon!!
Let me figure out everything first.

Make a DTube video only with you talking about it, don't say anything on YouTube.

Really glad to see you here if legit, but the crypto space is RIFE with impersonators.

Matt's buddy Furious Pete just joined too and he posted this on his twitter. So it could be the real Matt.

Nice!

Thanks for clearing that up. That makes perfect sense to test the waters so to say before you tell the world you're on Steemit and posting videos to dtube.

There is a small but growing group of gun enthusiasts on this platform but there's an even bigger group that loves freedom and hates the censorship going on in the larger social media platforms. Most people that join Steemit myself included are amazed at the quality of conversations you can have on this platform vs facebook or twitter. I'm sure you're enjoying that as well.

As for the converting your Steem Dollars into USD. You need a Coinbase or Gemini account to convert your Bitcoins, Litecoins, Etheruem, Etc. into USD. Then you can deposit the USD into your bank account.

All this crypto stuff is overwhelming at first but you'll be a pro at it in no time.

My husband enjoys watching your videos. Maybe if more people that he watches join steemit, he will too. I initially joined here just to comment on certain accounts I followed. Keep doing what you do, word will get out, and they will come. Especially if there is potential that they can earn something as well.

I don't know, but I am pretty sure that since Matt lives in Texas he would be able to talk English right? How is it that he writes a sentence like: ''my only concern before telling everyone on youtube is that THERE IS NOT MUCH POOL interested in guns as I couldn't even find that in tags.'' Matt is always very careful about the language he uses and I am sure he wouldn't make spelling mistakes like that in his posts. I would first like to see some real evidence that you are who you say you are. I am a big fan of Matt and what he does on youtube.

Thank you very much for clearing it up once and for all! I was already convinced it wasn't really him, but hearing it from him makes it sure for the rest too :)
I didn't ask him because I wouldn't like to bother him with these things!

Yeah I am very sure it is just somebody impersonating him. Look at the things Matt normally writes, everything is very precise, this guy on here makes a grammatical mistake in just about every sentence he posts... That just doesn't add up!

Glad you've tested the system and found it to work!
Ya Steemit is all about the people. Your followers want to know about you and your life. Here fans become friends :)
Have a look at @papa-pepper, he's one of the heavy-weights and an all round super nice guy.

I would also encourage you to find more Steemians in your area and link up with them. I know @sultnpapper is from Texas, but I guess Texas is so huge that could be hours away :)
Definitely do a Youtube video saying you've moved over as soon as you've figured out how you're going to be moving forward. There was a huge migration following @tjkirk when he left Youtube, and you might find that a lot of your followers are already here.
Do advertise your Steemit posts on your social media, using Steemit as a tag.

My withdrawal process is SBD to Bittrex, sell to Etherium, move to Luno wallet, withdraw to my bank account. This is South Africa though so nothing is straight forward lol.
Oh, and don't move Bitcoin if you can help it. Rather buy Etherium with your SBD/Steem if you're moving it to a wallet that doesn't support sbd/steem, the fees are a fraction of what Bitcoin's fees are. You can buy ETH directly from Blocktrades.

If you don't need your cash on Steemit its a good idea to let your account build up. Your goal is to get to 500SP as this gives you a vote slider and means that you have a much heavier vote to give. You can sell your SBD for Steem using the Market, maybe just hang on a it and see if the market corrects to where SBD is higher than Steem again.

Another way to build your account faster is to buy Steem and power up. It's trading at $3.56 right now but it's gone up to $8 before.

That was a lot of info :)

Yeah - welcome on Steemit.
Leave these YT idiots with demonetization policy alone ;)
Steem on!
Best wishes from Paraguay.

Hey Doc,
A fine young woman from Cape Town South Africa named @simplylizzle mentioned to me that you are now on here and that you are also a fellow Texan so I thought I would drop by and say, "howdy partner."
I look forward to seeing some of posts in the future.
Enjoy your stay here, it's like being in the "Texas of the internet", best place around.
Until next time,
@sultnpapper
