I'm afraid 200,000 likes on Facebook doesn't amount to all that much on Steemit... but keep in mind that on Facebook, Zuckerpuck gives you nothing at ALL.
I realize it's probably not what you want to hear... but it's a bit like starting over, here. I came here with 20 years in social content, twitter, facebook and I'm-all-that and within a week had experienced putting two hours into a post and scoring a bit fat.... $0.00 as a reward.
I'l say this... this is an engagement site. Unless you have a ridiculously large number of dedicated followers, you don't get to just "hold court" and expect things to come your way. But that's cool, too... because you really can get to KNOW your followers and fans... and when you do THAT, things definitely get better.
That said, even after six months and hundreds of high quality posts... my results range between $3.00 and $300.00 a post.
Any insights or ideas?
Keep plugging away at it. "Consistency" seems to be what ties together the top content creators here.
