RE: Adding Value to Steem

in #steemit7 years ago

Wow. Just wow. I loved to read your post, really got my head straight on some points I had floating around since I registered (not long ago). I'd like to ask though, have you indeed seen earnings? I mean, I do want to help improve the platform and the system, but seeing success stories is as important as reading instructionals and tutorials such as these, would you not say? :D Thanks a lot anyways, rock on and God-bless!

It depends on how you define earnings. I have no dream of making a living here. I am getting SBD and STEEM that has a decent value. However, personally I value more the network I've been building and the growth of my own writing and editing skills from working with that network. The time between level 27 and level 52 is the easy time, if you write true quality, because of the eligibility for the occasional curie. Once you hit 53, you have to work for every penny for a while. When that ends, I don't know. I'm still in the work for my pennies phase. But it's worth it to me.

I really appreciate your answer (it is kind of hard to really show it with the upvoting system). Me neither, I don't intend to make a living out of this (I have a career to push forward and all), but the extra dollars would not hurt either. :D I am actually looking forward to making some bucks for this project I have, but in the mean time, I will try my best to improve, and to generate that quality content you talked about up there! ^
