Does anyone know if video's can be posted directly to steemit blogs rather than using centralised social media sites?
If not now, could it be implemented in the future.
The reason I ask is that, I am, eventually, aiming to leave all mainstream social media & make the change to support & promote decentralised freedom of which, we all deserve.
Is steemit the new, fairer facebook, youtube etc, for the future?

thought I read that someone was working on a youtube clone that worked with steem. but i can't remember who.
I've wondered that too, I believe you have to store videos offsite somewhere like YouTube and then post here. But I agree - Decentralize All The Things lol :)
You talk about videos. My pictures taking significant amount of time while uploading.
My pictures seem to upload fast enough when I'm not running through a vpn.
