RE: How bots are being used by bad actors here on Steemit as a loophole to earn Steem.

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

It's not an open secret that whales can fully finance themselves with bots, that's more the intention of bots. It is a full business model and when the two stick to the rules, why should they not profit from it?

At the end it is up to the @minnowbooster team (and others who run public bots like @boomerang) to block them from getting payouts. Until then, lucky them.

I suppose so my friend, but it's just sad that these bots are funding bad activity, activity that could easily hurt the entire cryptocurrency space, not just Steemit.

Hmm, I did not know this, and I sure will.

Dear @upme, could you please take my article into consideration, and after doing your own thorough research, could you please see if these two bad actors qualify to be put on your list, thank you.

Noted, and thank you so much for the help!

What's that mean? We have the same censorship here on Steemit, because of the votes of the whales? If yes, then how Steemit is better than Facebook?

It's not censorship, it's just people expressing their opinion via their flagging right, and if they feel you are trying to take advantage of people, or wronging the system, then it is their right to flag them... you see the difference?

Facebook expressing its opinion by not showing your content in others' news feed, because they feel you are trying to take advantage of copyright loopholes or damaging the community in some form.....no,there is no difference.

Your post should be upvoted or downvoted by the community, with equal voting power. That is the perfect Democracy and equality.

The Facebook ban on crypto ads is a good thing imho.

Most of what was being advertised on Facebook in the first place, was just shitcoins or scammy lending platforms, so I totally agree with you John.
