exactly, i am trying to build up a rewarding relationship with my followers. i upvote for thoughtful commentary. i really need to let my upvote power recharge. it is so low its hilarious, but i can't bring myself to not reward people for participating like they are suposed to.

Lol! After you have enough SP you can choose how much to vote. Anywhere from 1 to 100% when you hit the upvote. It saves your vote power.

I know them feels. I put a lot of effort into my podcasts, memes, and the writing that I've started doing. When they don't get much exposure but literal garbage is crushing it due the begging you described or bot votes, it can be a bit disheartening. Hopefully those actions will catch up with them and they will start receiving dowmvotes from whales for begging. Until then, all you can really do is keep plugging away. Still making more here than you would on other platforms. I always try to keep that in mind. ;)

Dropping real money is what attracts the bigger voters. They want a return as well and they want to use their votes on people who can return the favour. Bit of a circle jerk but everyone is on here to also make money. I moved 5000$ worth of bitcoin into steem power for that purpose.
