Welcome to the twenty third day of the May 30 days writing challenge. If you don't know what this challenge is about, please have a look at the introductory post. Also, at the end of each article I will post the links to all the posts in the challenge (if you're joining the challenge, I encourage you to do the same). Also, if you join, don't forget to tag your post with #challenge30days and also leave a comment with the link of your post, so I can evaluate if you're one of the 3 lucky Steemians that will get a full upvote from me.
How Many Comments Per Day Do You Post? Why?
This is an easy one (for a change). I write, statistically, 2-3 comments per day, almost the same amount of articles that I post. Sometimes it may be a week until I post a comment, sometimes, when I get caught in a creative discussion, I may write 10-20 comments in a day.
But I know this pattern is not profitable for other people, who are writing predominantly more comments than posts. So, what's your number, how many comments are you posting each day? Leave a link to your post in the comments so I can check it out.

How many comments per day do you write?
About 50 but I think that might go up to 60. I guess I have a tendency to share my opinions. lol
I make 50 to 70 comments per day but that has reduced this few week due to bad network in my location and working on come back higher than that. Things minnows do to grow and create relationship on steemit
Holy crap 70 comments that is insane!
Comments are extremely important, but it never gets easier to post more comments as you get more involved in Steemit. Here's my response to today's post: https://steemit.com/challenge30days/@michaelluchies/how-many-comments-per-day-do-you-post-why-30-days-writing-challenge-day-23

I made +10 comments daily.
A comment should express exactly what you feel about that article.
That turned into a longer post than I thought it would. Well, here is a comment to give you my post on commenting lol

Hello @dragosroua
The Important of comments can never be over emphasized. That is what I used to build my blog in the early days of Steemit. I was dropping an upwards of 10 comments anytime I come online.
I still try to post as many comments as possible but the main major issue is finding posts to Interact with
One of the reasons why I love Medium is that engagement is quite easy because mthe quality of content is always top notch so it is easier to sieve read through posts and comment
Engagement is quite hard on Steemit in Comparison because it is good posts are rare here, that's why I limit the amount of people that I am following
I follow only good Authors here, so on a particular day I find myself making 5-7 comments depending on the number of my following that made a post on that particular day.
You asked us to drop a Link, this is the link to my Latest posts on the Important of community building with comments and perseverance : On Steemit: A Tale of Personal Brands and Innovation
If you can also spare me some time also check out my post on post on Blockchain Tribalism It is an old post but I would like to hear your opinion on It.
Thanks
@ogochukwu
I understand when posting regularly, you probably do not have so much time to comment. But I appreciate when I write a comment and the author answers back or votes to let me know she/he appreciates the comment.
Especially when catching errors!!! :)
Here's my post
As i am a newbie in steemit,so i have not much followers and nobody will notice my post.so it is a damn idea to post one after another. But if i comment in people post such as i comment in your post and if this comment can gain ur mind,u will just upvote me. Besides if i want to comment in ur post,i must have to read this, which will increase my knowledge and it will give me much experience, because i saw that, every person has different choice ,and they post on different topics.which is vey helpfull to large my knowledge.besides ,the author and ignoble readers upvote my review i reach rewarded among Steem Dollars or Steem Power. Steem Dollars can stay transferred right away while Steem Power can lie withdrawn among 104 hebdomadal instalments. With some range regarding denounce I choice get hold of 0.03 Steem Dollar or additionally Steem Power. If i be brought numerous upvotes because my criticize i should doubtlessly perform a number of Steem Dollars. For this i give much focus in comment.
I am write daily 50 comments.
Yes, brother, comments are the best way to get noticed on this platform.
Thanks for appreciating
During the last four month i have been working on the comments and even in the start, i was posting 100 comments a day. now I'm commenting on the Selected members, so nowadays I'm posting 30 to 40 comments a day.
replies are not included.
It’s another day I think day 22nd if my counting isn’t wrong.
I loose count of comments I make everyday cause I believe the best way to making friends is through communication so I basically do that through commenting
My average per week is 250, so that is one average 35 per day. All genuine comments.
Why? Because I do like the interaction.
We can’t be a social media without interaction!
I only write xomments if I did read the article! So I do guess that 35 is my max!
I do comment to score upvotes, while I don’t mind them 😁
Not a lot. Not a lot at all.

Hmm I did a count of yesterdays comments, and got 12. I do a lot more voting that commenting it seems.
Here's my link from a recent post. Those 12 are now from this sole post, but on many posts.
https://steemit.com/steemit/@slobberchops/what-is-it-with-all-the-fake-accounts
According to Steemworld I've commented 3684 times in the 301 days since I created my account last July. This works out to 12 comments a day. I try and comment on interesting posts, people I know and anyone that creates interesting content.
I think this is vital for the growth of the platform and I also see people who post so much being more self-centered and not helping the community. COmments spark engagements and make the posts worth writing. What is the point of writing something if no one views it or interacts with it?
I write less than 10. I just got started here and havent found that much topics i want to get involved yet.
For me it's not fixed. I post on all of those whose content I find good quality.
Depends, when I do comment, I try to comment to at least three different posts... But I don't comment everyday. In busy days I think I reach 20 comments like you.
Maybe I could find a tool that give me this stats.
I post at least three comments and not more than five per day. I love to post on topics that I find interesting. The truth is, when I have nothing to say, I just read and pass.
Not that many really. It's all about the effectivity, though. Here on Steemit, it's the same as with followers. It doesn't matter how many you have. The only thing that matters is how many of them are actively engaging with your content. Here's the post.
You might be a little bit surprised, but don't be.
I've grown to appreciate the power of good commenting. They are a valuable resource as a networking tool and as a catalyst for growth. I've experienced both over the last 10 weeks. Here's today's entry.
I took a short break, but I'm back and here is the link to my post https://steemit.com/challenge30days/@themanwithnoname/how-much-do-i-comment
Commenting is a great way for minnows like me to network and earn from upvotes. In my post I tell the importance of commenting and added a post I had using Steem.supply that I earned 40% of my SBDs and SP from comments 4 months ago!
https://steemit.com/challenge30days/@maverickinvictus/may-30-days-writing-challenge-day-twenty-three-how-many-comments-per-day-do-you-post-why
I make a minimum of 20 comments a day and sometimes way more. As you say, @dragosroua, for many of us this is an important part of our income.
It's also a way to get my posts seen by more people and form new relationships.
I mainly comment on smaller accounts because I'm more likely to get a reply. 😊
Thats a simple one...
Here is my answer, hope you like it:)

I post about 10 -15 comments a day. I know I should do more to increase popularity.
It takes time for me to read and digest articles and find something to say to add value to the main article.
Comments, made in good faith, represent the second important activity here. More about my opinion here: https://steemit.com/steemit/@bluemoon/may-30-days-writing-challenge-day-23-how-many-comments-per-day-do-you-post-why
