As you (hopefully) already know, I recently added a few Easter Eggs to my tool steem.supply. An Easter Egg is a specific piece of information hidden somehow in the fabric of the app. You have to dig a bit deeper to find this one.
Here's what it looks like:
Except that under the heading: "You found an Easter Egg!" you should find the actual Easter Egg question.
What happens when you find an Easter Egg? Well, you come back here and post your answer in the comments. The first 5 people who are doing this are getting rewarded with a full upsteem from me.
I planted a few eggs, but each one is valid only for a specific day. So for the next 3 days you should go around and try to find the hidden one. You will be able to post your answer once the post about the day's egg has been published. Like, for instance, the post for the egg of August 19th is this one.
Please, do not post screenshots of the Easter Eggs, or the question itself. Give a fair chance to other people to play as well.

anyway my answer is,
they are groups of individual selected by the community to maintain and verify the steem blockchain. They have to be highly knowledgable with steemit and its technicalities and they are working on the background with not a lot of people knows exactly how important their work is. So they are more like the batman of steemit community if I might say.

I don’t know much about those type of people but in general terms they are the one’s who are truly running the steemit blockchain keeping it running smoothly and fast. They validate all the transactions of the blockchain such as posting upvoting commenting etc. Moreover, they are one of the reasons we are able to peg SBD at $1 as they are able to adjust their APR to control how many SBD is in circulation. All I can say is that I’m grateful for your work as well as all the other witnesses that keep this site running perfectly.

This is really a nice contest.. I love easter eggs since I learned to know them I think 20 years ago.. I think it was some hidden game in office or something.. I will search it..
Well, I find this topic to be important and even though I'm not eligible for the vote I will comment anyways :) Witnesses are the backbone of the blockchain. They are in direct contact with the developers and influence the hard forks. That is why I am spreading the witness awareness with my interviews
